Fishing with care

Our fishers work with great dedication and expertise, and thus ensure that there is a good supply of essential, wholesome food. The fish is chilled and sorted on board immediately after the catch. It is then frozen within 6 - 12 hours. We invest in our vessels to ensure that they are fitted with the most modern freezing equipment, adapted to the highest environmental standards.

Most of a freezer trawler is taken up by these freezing systems for preserving the quality of the fish and promoting food security. In fact, 60% of the total capacity of our freezer trawlers is designated for sorting, processing, freezing and storing the catch. That explains the size of the ships. Only 24% of the ship is intended for actual fishing.
